Two Challenge Entries

Two challenge entries today. Was fun to do something a little different for a change! The first one was RSCC#6. i used the all boxed up template (My Timeless Templates © by Lauren Meader for Papertrey Ink* ). I printed out the template and then reduced it from A4 to A5 on my copier then cut and put together using dark chocolate cs, I used aqau mist as the base for the belly band and used melon berry bitty dot paper and aqua mist bitty dot on the band, using melon berry ink and Life stamps for the Life. Inside i lined the box with aqua mist cs and then overlayed with melon berry bitty dot. I stamped with Life set using melon berry ink and tried REALLY hard to make this a kind of pop up. I then covered a small chocolate and put in front of the sentiment.

the next is using a timeless template to make a birthday present. I used the all boxed up template. Created the all cs/pp is papertrey. I used basic black for the inside holders and dressed up with some purple bitty dot paper and also some punched/embossed cs. They hold some stamped notecards and envelopes. the front is covered with friends for life pp, and the belly band is made up of punched/embossed basic black, purple cs and bitty dot paper with a hand cut flower from the friend for life with black gems around the centre flower. A quick update from the show, i won one first prize for a layout, two highly commended and when i was picking them up another lady asked for my number because she may be interested in me doing a wedding album for her! Will wait and see though......
